Didn't you get my message?
Didn't you get my text?
Didn't you check your Facebook?
And see my status yet?
Didn't anybody try to tell you,
That the party's about to begin?
'cause if you're in the mood,
And you're feeling good,
Then come on in and sing.
And everybody on the left say "A-O"
And everybody on the right say "Oh my God"
And everybody at the back say "Alright"
And everybody in the house go crazy tonight!
We see your pictures in the magazines and papers,
We see your name in lights,
We see you acting like you wanna run the country,
We see you starting fights,
But we don't wanna act like you do,
No we don't wanna act like you do,
We just wanna play our tunes.
So everybody on the left say "A-O"
And everybody on the right say "Oh my God"
And everybody at the back say "Wooooo"
And everybody in the house go crazy tonight!

Sniffin'
04:51
|
|||
I remember the first night I met her
I remember it so well
I remember the style of her hair
And the colour of the dress she wore as well
Well people talk about love at first sight
I look at her and I could just tell
But the thing I remember most about that night was her smell
Yeah I remember how she smelt I was.....
SNIFFIN'
I was just sniffin' around
Waiting for her love to come around
Like the last little puppy dog in the lost and found
Like a half eaten apple that had started to go brown
I was SNIFFIN'
Well the second time I saw that girl I told her straight off "I love ya baby" and I wasn't lying
'cause I could tell by the feeling that I had inside it was like some sort of film from the 80s with Meg Ryan
Well she stared right back at me and her face lit right up and that girl just grinned
And the love bubbled up deep inside of me and it felt like a sexy version of trapped wind
Yeah it felt like trapped wind I was....
SNIFFIN'
I was just sniffin' around
Like the makeup smeared face of a sad old clown
Like a cardboard box with a 'this-way-up' sticker facing down
Like a favourite white t-shirt that's been washed too many times and gone slightly brown
SNIFFIN'

Love Sick (Sick of Love)
03:17
|
|||
There’s a hole in my chest where my heart used to lie
Now the wind whistles through me and sounds like a sigh
There’s a darkness inside me that haunts me at night
Since you tugged on my heart strings then turned out the light
Love sick, sick of love
You’re still the girl that I’m dreaming of
There’s a pain in my brain where the grey matter sticks
And a cog that won’t turn due to your parlour tricks
There’s a tongue that gets tongue-tied when you’re standing near
My footsteps get frozen and my boots fill with fear
Love sick, sick of love
You’re still the girl that I’m dreaming of
There’s a white hot sharp needle, it’s burning my nerves
Like a train I derail when I think of your curves
I am bruised, I am battered from my head to my feet
From the beating you give when you walk over me
Love sick, sick of love
You’re still the girl that I’m dreaming of

The Good People
02:41
|
|||
I’ve got a feeling that the good people are all here tonight
I’ve got a feeling that everything is gonna be alright
I’ve got a feeling that we’re all ready to get down tonight
I’ve got a feeling when I say “let’s make some noise” you might
Am I right?
Everybody let’s make some noise
I’ve got a hunch we’re having fun is that true?
We’ve got a bunch of cool songs for you is that true?
I’ve got a hunch you’ll join in too is that true?
I’ve got a hunch you can make some noise is that true?
Am I right?
Everybody let’s make some noise
I said Thingumajigs!
Now somebody scream
We’ve got a rhythm are you ready to bounce along?
We’ve got a melody if you wanna sing the song?
We’ll make your feet and your hips shake before too long
Because we’ve got the rhythm and with rhythm you can’t go wrong
Am I right?
Everybody let’s make some noise
I said Thingumajigs!
Now somebody scream!

Well we shuffle in to view
Just like we haven't got a clue
And sometimes people listen to us play
And though we often get it wrong
You lot don’t know half the songs
So it doesn’t really matter anyway
We’re just the warm up band
It doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t go to plan
We’re just the warm up band
We’ll try to get the songs right if we can
Well we try to keep in time
And remember all the lines
And with a bit of luck we even play in tune
But if you’re really unimpressed
We can put your mind at rest
Don’t worry we’ll be finished very soon
We’re just the warm up band
It doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t go to plan
We’re just the warm up band
We’ll try to get the songs right if we can
We sing catchy melodies
And backing vocal harmonies
And we make sure that our songs are not too long
Throw in jokes that don’t offend
As we plough on to the end
And we really hope that you lot sing along
We’re just the warm up band
It doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t go to plan
We’re just the warm up band
We’ll try to get the songs right if we can
